Sex is a system, a mechanism, a process to make new individuals (reproduction). It is binary. It is binary in every species that practises it – almost all complex life on earth – and has been binary for bazillions of years.
You think sex is a construction to sort people and their bodies.
That is not sex. That is bodies.
Which is not to undermine the appreciation of bodies in all their glorious and exceptional forms, of course.
(I’m going to ask a superficially hard question, and sorry to those in this convo who might see it as something more than neutral science – I promise you it is a neutral science Q.)
Karen, how often do you overturn a scientific model for a 1/1000, a 1/5000, a 1/20k data point?
